Daniel is Simba Health's lead podiatrist and the developer of our podiatry service. He holds a Bachelor of Health Science, a Master of Podiatric Practice, and a Master of Health Leadership and Management, alongside more than 10 years of clinical experience across private practice, aged care, research, and high-risk foot clinics in the UK and Australia. He works with a broad range of patients, from athletes and active adults to those managing chronic or complex foot conditions.

He is passionate about helping patients regain control of their movement, pain, and performance through holistic, evidence-based chiropractic care. With over 10 years of extensive experience across sports, neurorehabilitation, and gut-brain health, he integrates manual therapy, exercise, and neuroscience-informed education to not only address pain, but also the habits and stressors that perpetuate it.

Lisa Johnson

Vestibular Physiotherapist

Lisa has been a practising physiotherapist since graduating from the University of Sydney in 1992 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). Over the course of her career, she has gained extensive experience across a range of physiotherapy specialties, working at John Hunter Hospital, Royal Rehabilitation Centre, and Mona Vale Hospital. While at Mona Vale Hospital, Lisa took on the role of Team Leader and was also appointed as an Adjunct Lecturer with the University of Sydney in recognition of her contributions as a clinical supervisor for physiotherapy students.

We offer on-the-spot private health insurance claims at each clinic through the HICAPS system. We can also provide a receipt for you to claim a rebate through your private health insurer after your appointment. The exact gap amount you pay depends on your level of extras cover — check with your insurer to confirm rebate amounts.

If your GP has issued you a Chronic Disease Management Plan or an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) before your appointment, Medicare funding can subsidise your treatment for a limited number of appointments. Your GP determines your eligibility for this. You will be required to pay for your appointment in full on the day and we will submit your Medicare claim on your behalf. Medicare will rebate a portion of the fee, typically within 48 hours but it can take up to 7 days to process. You cannot claim through both private health insurance and a Medicare CDM plan for the same visit.

Let us know as early as you can so the time can be offered to another patient. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice for most services, 48 hours for vestibular physiotherapy) and no-shows attract a fee, which is usually payable by the patient even under compensable schemes such as DVA or WorkCover.

No. You can book directly with any of our clinicians. If your symptoms suggest another medical condition requires further assessment, we’ll work closely with your GP or specialist to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
